Mission Visa UAE for Six Months
Who can apply?
It is issued for the purpose of temporary work in the country and issued for a maximum of 180 days with a combined fee of 1800 Dhs . It is issued for three months against a fee of 600 Dhs and can be renewed for another three months against a fee of 1200 Dhs.
Companies that have no violations with the Ministry of Labour may apply for mission visas, provided that the person who will hold the mission visa should not have a ban. Visa validity 3months and can be renewed against payment of 500 Dhs.
It has been introduced to facilitate Labour Ministry’s Temporary Work Permit. An applicant must obtain the permit from the Labour Ministry first to get the visa.
Required Documents:
- Copy of Trade License
- Labour Establishment Card
- Immigration Establishment Card
- Sponsor’s Passport copy
- Sponsor’s E-signature Card
- Passport copy and one photo of the employee.
Visa Fee:
- 153 Dhs for Initial Approval (Pay at Tas’heel Centre)
- 553 Dhs for Labour Card (Pay at Tas’heel Centre). You have to specify salary details of the employee at the time of paying this amount and you will get three copies of the Labour Contract. Employee and sponsor have to sign on the contract after his arrival and submit it at Tas’heel Centre.
- 3000 Dhs Bank Guarantee which is refundable after his visa cancellation and exit. Commission varies depends on Bank. No commission at Al Masraf and NBQ. Bank Guarantee facility available with AAFAQ inside Tas’heel Centre
- 750 Dhs Immigration Visa Fee. Typing charge extra (can be paid at Typing Centre). If you apply through eDNRD, 700 Dhs only.
- 300 Dhs for Medical (Fees varies depends on package)
- Dh100 for Labour Contract submission (should be submitted Within 30 days from the date of arrival)
- 553 Dhs for Labour Card renewal on completion of 3 months (Pay at Tas’heel Centre)
- 1320 Dhs Visa renewal fee for Immigration (typing charge extra). Can be paid at Typing Centre
Important Information:
- Entry Permit Validity: Visa holder should enter UAE within 14 days from the date of Visa issue. If exceeds, visa will be invalid and new visa application should be submitted.
- Medical & Labour Card: Medical and Labour Card / Contract should be completed within 30 days from the date of arrival. No need Emirates ID and visa stamping for Mission Visa holder. Validity of labour Card: 90 days, renewal for another 90 days
- FINE: In case of failure to complete Medical & Labour Contract within 30 days from the date of entry, fine for delay will be calculated at 100 Dhs for every day.
- Labour Card Renewal should be done within 7 days from the date of expiry. Fine for delay 100 Dhs for each day.
- Leave the Country: Upon the expiry of the renewal period of the mission visa, the holder has seven days to leave the UAE. In case of delay, 100 Dhs will be calculated for every day.
- Single Entry Only: No multiple entry is allowed for Mission mission. Visa will be invalid once you exit UAE.
- Mission Visa holder must exit UAE to apply for an Employment Visa.Mission Visa application can be typed and submitted at any of the following Tas’heel Centers.
Cancellation: After exit of the employee, take exit information print out from the immigration and cancel his visa. Cancellation Fee 70 Dhs + Typing charges. 120 Dhs to be paid at immigration for the exit print out.
Documents required: Typed application, Original Visa, Exit Information print out, Trade License copy, Immigration card copy, Seal and Signature of sponsor.
Then cancel Labour Card from Tasheel Centre.
Documents required: Cancellation receipt from Immigration, Labour card and passport copy of employee, Trade License copy, Labour Establishment Card copy, Original E-signature Card of the authorized signatory/sponsor.

Q: I am on Employment Visa. But my visa still not stamped on my passport. Can I attach entry visa to apply visa for my family?
A: No. You should have stamped visa on your passport to apply for family visa. Your labor contract also should be shown at the Immigration to prove your salary. Labor Contract will be issued only after stamping your visa.
Q: Do I need to endorse spouse’s name in my passport to apply for family visa?
A: No. Attested marriage certificate is enough.
Q: How long the family visa process takes at Immigration?
A: If the above mentioned documents are correct, visa will be issued same time.
Q: I want to apply residence visa for my wife and two children. I have got a studio flat in my name. Is it acceptable for family visa?
A: Yes, for wife and children studio flat also acceptable.
Q: I want to apply residence visa for my child. But Tenancy Contract is issued in the name of my wife. Is it acceptable for family visa?
A: Yes, it is acceptable. You should attach wife’s passport copy and Marriage Certificate.
Q: I am an Investor/partner and I heard that I have to deposit 3,020 Dhs at Immigration for each of my dependent’s residence visa. Can I refund 10,000 Dhs / 20000 Dhs which I deposited for my investor visa?
A: Yes, you can refund self visa deposit amount after you deposited 3,020 Dhs for each of your dependent’s visa. This facility is available at Immigration head office, Jafliya. STEPS: Submit family visa application, Pay new deposit as per the officer’s instruction, Get Visa, Go to refund counter with original deposit receipt of self visa, Get seal on the receipt No Objection for Refund. Go to Dubai Commercial Bank Immigration Brach Counter, Pay 10 Dhs as service charge and collect the cash. This facility is available at Immigration head office, Jafliya.
If you have lost your deposit receipt, you should pay 70 Dhs at Immigration counter to get new receipt in lieu of lost.
